Creative design is only beginning of successful packaging. The decoration must incorporate all the product features and benefits, ingredients and instructions — frequently in two or more languages. The government and the market dictate further restrictions, bar coding, font sizes, and claims limitations. Finally, the layout must conform with the package manufacturer's technical specs, tolerances and templates with surgical precision. The final result is clear and compelling presentation of the product.

Portfolio

1. Basic 123 was designed as a private brand to provide a higher quality of skin care at a low price.

2. Flowing Velvet was an enormously successful moisturizer in the 1950s, designed by the famous aviatrix, Jacqueline Cochran. A new look preceded it's relaunch in today's market place.

3. The packaging for Igiene eye-care products, is designed to have a clean, perscription-like appearance to reflect the medicinal quality of the formulas; the look was designed to appeal to men as well as women. The initial rollout included in-store promotional materials, ceiling and window posters, point-of-purchase easels, and shelf-talkers.

4-6. The second generation of Igiene packaging incorporated clear acrylic boxes to showcase the luxurious bottles; competitive with department store cosmetics. An expanded line added cleansers, dark circle treatment, moisturizers, vitamins and eye masks. A unique branding was created for The Before & After Sun, break-though technology which combined sunscreen for the eyelids with after-sun hydration in a single formula.

7-8. I-Spa is the next generation eye care, improved formulas and a more thorough treatment series. Designing together with the bottle and box manufacturers added unique features such as a level-sight slot on the bottles, a 2-door slide open tray on the box.

9-10. Designs and packaging for a range of both utilitarian and collectible phone cards.

11-12. Packaging for DVDs, CDs, and other electronic media includes sleeves, jewel boxes, pop-up folders, and other intriguing designs, as well as disk imprinting for a package-less presentations of travel, music and culture.
